turntheignitionswitchtotheLOCK
positionandproceedfromthe
beginning.
BlockingthePowerWindow:
Blockingthepowerwindowjust
beforeitreachesthefullyclosed
positionorwhilefullyholdingupthe
powerwindowswitchisdangerous.
Inthiscase,thejam-safefunction
cannotpreventthewindowfrom
stopping.Iffingersarecaught,serious
injuriescouldoccur.Makesure
nothingblocksthewindowjustbefore
itreachesthefullyclosedpositionor
whilefullyholdingupthepower
windowswitch.
Ifyouareunabletocancelthe
l
functiondespitedoingthe
cancellationprocedure,consultan
AuthorizedMazdaDealer.
Restoringthetwo-stepdownfunction
Withthetwo-stepdownfunctioninthe
canceledstate,repeattheprevious
NOTE
procedureforcancelingthefunctionon
eachdoorswitchanditwillberestored.
Dependingondrivingconditions,a
closingpowerwindowcouldstopand
startopeningwhenthewindowfeelsa
shockthatissimilartosomething
blockingit.
Intheeventthejam-safefunction
activatesandthepowerwindowcannot
beclosedautomaticallyusingtheauto-
openingmethod,pullandholdthe
switchfullyandthewindowwillclose.
NOTE
Ifyouareunabletorestorethefunction
despitedoingtherestoreprocedure,
consultanAuthorizedMazdaDealer.
Jam-safewindow
Ifaperson'shands,headoranobject
blocksthewindowduringthemanual
closingoperationortheauto-closing
operation,thewindowwillstopandopen
halfway.
Engine-offpowerwindowoperation
Thepowerwindowcanbeoperatedabout
40
secondsaftertheignitionswitchis
turnedfromtheONpositiontotheACC
orLOCKpositionwithalldoorsclosed.If
eitherfrontdoorisopened,thepower
windowwillbeinoperable.
