vehicle.
Thisseatisalsonotsetupfortethered
child-restraintsystems,puttheminoneof
therearseatpositionssetupwithtether
anchors.
LikewisetheLATCHchild-restraint
systemcannotbesecuredinthefront
passenger'sseatandshouldbeusedinthe
rearseat.
Don'tallowanyonetosleepagainstthe
sidewindowifyouhaveanoptionalside
andcurtainairbag,itcouldcauseserious
injuriestoanoutofpositionoccupant.As
childrenmoreoftensleepincars,itis
bettertoputthemintherearseat.If
installingthechild-restraintsystemonthe
frontseatisunavoidable,followthese
instructionswhenusingafront-facing
child-restraintsysteminthefront
passenger'sseat.
Tocheckifyourvehiclehascurtain
airbags:
EveryMazdacurtainairbagwill
havean“SRSAIRBAG”markingon
thefrontandrearwindowpillars
alongtheroofedge.

WARNING
FrontPassenger'sSeatPosition:
Asyourvehiclehasfrontairbagsand
doublysoifyourvehiclehassideair
bags,afront-facingchild-restraint
systemshouldbeputonthefrontseat
onlywhenitisunavoidable.
Alwaysmovetheseatasfarbackas
possible,becausetheforceofa
deployingairbagcouldcauseserious
injuryordeathtothechild.
Rear-FacingChild-RestraintSystem:
Rear-facingchild-restraintsystemson
thefrontseatareparticularly
dangerous.
Thechild-restraintsystemcanbehit
byadeployingairbagandmoved
violentlybackwardresultinginserious
injuryordeathtothechild.   NEVER
usearear-facingchild-restraint
systeminthefrontseatwithanairbag
thatcoulddeployeveninamoderate
collision.
