cancelingmanualshiftmodeand
turningoffthegearpositionindicator
illumination.Thisisanormal
functiontoprotecttheAT.Afterthe
ATFtemperaturehasdecreased,the
gearpositionindicatorillumination
turnsbackonanddrivinginmanual
shiftmodeisrestored.
Inmanualshiftmode,gearsdonot
shiftupautomatically.Don'trunthe
enginewiththetachometerneedlein
theREDZONE.Ifthetachometer
needleenterstheREDZONE,you
mayfeelengine-brakingbecausethe
fueldeliverywillbestoppedto

protecttheengine.However,this
doesnotindicateanabnormality.
GearsmaynotbeshiftedfromM1to
M2rightaftershiftingtheleverfrom
DtoM.Waitafewsecondsandthen
shiftuptoM2.

Whendepressingtheaccelerator
fully,thetransaxlewillshifttoa
lowergear,dependingonvehicle
speed.
