CarbonMonoxide:
Engineexhaustgasisdangerous.Thisgascontainscarbonmonoxide(CO),whichis
colorless,odorless,andpoisonous.Wheninhaled,itcancauselossofconsciousness
anddeath.Ifyousmellexhaustgasinsideyourvehicle,keepallwindowsfullyopen
andcontactanAuthorizedMazdaDealerimmediately.
ExhaustGasinEnclosedArea:
Runningtheengineinsideanenclosedarea,suchasagarage,isdangerous.Exhaust
gas,whichcontainspoisonouscarbonmonoxide,couldeasilyenterthecabin.Lossof
consciousnessorevendeathcouldoccur.Don'truntheenginewheninsidean
enclosedarea.
IdlingwiththeWindowsClosed:
Exhaustgasisdangerous.Whenyourvehicleisstoppedwiththewindowsclosedand
theenginerunningforalongtimeeveninanopenarea,exhaustgas,whichcontains
poisonouscarbonmonoxide,couldenterthecabin.Lossofconsciousnessoreven
deathcouldoccur.Openthewindowsoradjusttheheatingorcoolingsystemtodraw
freshair.
SnowBlockingtheExhaustGas:
Runningtheenginewhenavehicleisstoppedindeepsnowisdangerous.Theexhaust
pipecouldbeblockedbythesnow,allowingexhaustgastoenterthecabin.Because
exhaustgascontainspoisonouscarbonmonoxide,anyoneinthecabincouldbe
injuredorkilled.Clearthesnowfromunderneathandaroundyourvehicle,
particularlythetailpipe,beforestartingtheengine.
