locatedintheenginecompartment.
Fuses
Yourvehicle'selectricalsystemis
protectedbyfuses.
Ifanylights,accessories,orcontrolsdon't
work,inspecttheappropriatecircuit
protector.Ifafusehasblown,theinside
elementwillbemelted.
Ifthesamefuseblowsagain,avoidusing
thatsystemandconsultanAuthorized
MazdaDealerassoonaspossible.

Inspectitandreplaceifit'sblown.
Replacingthefusesonthedriver'sside
kick-panel
Iftheelectricalsystemdoesn'twork,first
inspectfusesonthedriver'ssidekick-
panel.

switches.
Openthefusepanelcoverbysliding
thecoverstraightbacktowardyou.

Pushinanewfuseofthesame
amperagerating,andmakesureitfits
tightly.Ifitdoesn't,haveanAuthorized
MazdaDealerinstallit.
Ifyouhavenosparefuses,borrowone
ofthesameratingfromacircuitnot
essentialtovehicleoperation,suchas
theAUDIOorCIGARcircuit.
WARNING
CAUTION
Alwaysreplaceafusewithoneofthe
samerating.Otherwiseyoumay
damagetheelectricsystem.
Pullingthecoveroffsidewaysmay
breaktheretainingtabsoff.
