Workingwithouteyeprotectionisdangerous.BatteryfluidcontainsSULFURIC
ACIDwhichcouldcauseblindnessifsplashedintoyoureyes.Also,hydrogengas
producedduringnormalbatteryoperation,couldigniteandcausethebatteryto
explode.Alwaysweareyeprotectionwhenworkingnearthebattery.
SpilledBatteryFluid:
Spilledbatteryfluidisdangerous.
BatteryfluidcontainsSULFURICACIDwhichcouldcauseseriousinjuriesifitgets
ineyes,skinorclothing.Ifthishappens,immediatelyflushyoureyeswithwaterfor

minutesorwashyourskinthoroughlyandgetmedicalattention.Weareye
protectionandprotectiveglovestopreventcontactwithbatteryfluid.
ChildrenandBatteries:
Allowingchildrentoplaynearbatteriesisdangerous.Batteryfluidcouldcause
seriousinjuriesifitgetsintheeyesorontheskin.Alwayskeepbatteriesoutofthe
reachofchildren.
KeepFlamesAway:
Flamesandsparksnearopenbatterycellsaredangerous.Hydrogengas,produced
duringnormalbatteryoperation,couldigniteandcausethebatterytoexplode.An
explodingbatterycancauseseriousburnsandinjuries.Keepallflamesincluding
cigarettesandsparksawayfromopenbatterycells.Whenworkingnearabattery,do
