isdangerous.ThisgascontainsCO
(carbonmonoxide),whichiscolorless,
odorless,andhighlypoisonous.If
inhaled,itcancauselossof
consciousnessanddeath.Because
exhaustgascangetintothecabin
throughanopentrunk,keepthetrunk
closedwhendriving.
Leavingthetrunklidopenorleaving
childreninthevehiclewiththekeysis
dangerous.Childrencouldopenthe
trunklidandclimbinsideresultingin
possibleinjuryordeathfromheat
exposure.Closethetrunklid,lockthe
rearseatbacksanddonotallow
childrentoplayinsidethevehicle.
UnattendedChildrenandPets:
Leavingchildrenoranimals
unattendedinaparkedvehicleis
dangerous.Babiesleftsleepingand
kidswholockthemselvesincarsor
trunkscandieveryquicklyfromheat
prostration.Don'tleaveyourchildren
orpetsaloneinacaratanytime.
Don'tleavethecar,therearfolding
seatsorthetrunkunlocked.Always
keepthecarfrombeingatempting
placetoplaybylockingrearseats,
doorsandthetrunk,andkeepingthe
keyswherechildrencannotplaywith
them.
CAUTION
Forvehiclesequippedwitharear
spoiler,donotliftthetrunklidbythe
spoiler.Liftingupthetrunklidbythe
rearspoilercouldcausedamagetothe
rearspoilerandthetrunklid.
