Drivingyourvehiclewithunder-inflatedtiresisdangerous.
Under-inflationisthemostcommoncauseoffailuresinanykindoftireandmay
resultinseverecracking,treadseparationor“blowout”,withunexpectedlossof
vehiclecontrolandincreasedriskofinjury.Under-inflationincreasessidewallflexing
androllingresistance,resultinginheatbuildupandinternaldamagetothetire.It
resultsinunnecessarytirestress,irregularwear,lossofcontrolandaccidents.Atire
canloseuptohalfofitsairpressureandnotappeartobeflat!
Itisimpossibletodeterminewhetherornottiresareproperlyinflatedjustbylooking
atthem.
Alwayscheckthetireinflationpressuresonaregularbasisaccordingtothe
recommendedtireinflationpressureonthetirelabelandinconjunctionwiththe
informationinthisowner'smanual.

Whenyouchecktheairpressure,makesurethetiresarecold―meaningtheyarenot
hotfromdrivingevenamile.

Removethecapfromthevalveononetire.
Firmlypressatiregaugeontothevalve.
Addairtoachieverecommendedairpressure.
Ifyouoverfillthetire,releaseairbypushingonthemetalsteminthecenterofthe
valve.Thenrecheckthepressurewithyourtiregauge.

Replacethevalvecap.
Repeatwitheachtire,includingthespare.
NOTE
Somesparetiresrequirehigherinflationpressure.

Visuallyinspectthetirestomakesuretherearenonailsorotherobjectsembeddedthat
couldpokeaholeinthetireandcauseanairleak.

Checkthesidewallstomakesuretherearenogouges,cuts,bulges,cracksorother
irregularities.
