Shifting
fewsecondswhenyouturnthe
ignitionswitchtotheON(II)
position.Ifitflasheswhiledriving(in
anyshiftposition),itindicatesa
possibleprobleminthetransmission.
SHIFTLEVER
Ifthemalfunctionindicatorlamp
comesonalongwiththe‘‘D’’
indicator,thereisaproblemwiththe
automatictransmissioncontrol
system.Avoidrapidacceleration,and
havethetransmissioncheckedby
yourdealerassoonaspossible.
RELEASE
BUTTON
Theseindicatorsontheinstrument
panelshowwhichpositiontheshift
leverisin.
ToshiftfromParktoanyposition,
pressfirmlyonthebrakepedaland
pressthereleasebuttononthefront
oftheshiftlever,thenpullthelever.
YoucannotshiftoutofParkwhen
theignitionswitchisintheLOCK
(0)
ortheACCESSORY(I)position.
