interiorinacrashandcould
seriouslyinjuretheoccupants.
Youhearnothing,oralmost
nothing.Theengine’sstarter
motordoesnotoperateatall,or
operatesveryslowly.
Checkthesethings:
Storethewheel,jack,andtools
securelybeforedriving.
Checkthetransmissioninterlock.
Ifyouhaveamanualtransmission,
theclutchpedalmustbepushed
allthewaytothefloororthe
starterwillnotoperate.Withan
automatictransmission,itmustbe
inParkorneutral.
Youcanhearthestartermotor
operatingnormally,orthestarter
motorsoundslikeitisspinning
fasterthannormal,buttheengine
doesnotstartupandrun.
