Donotspillanyliquidsonor
undertheseats,coverthesensors,
orputanyobjectsormetalitems
underthefrontseats.
Thedriver’sadvancedfrontairbag
systemincludesaseatposition
sensorundertheseat.Iftheseatis
toofarforward,theairbagwill
inflatewithlessforce,regardlessof
theseverityoftheimpact.
Thepassenger’sadvancedfront
airbagsystemhasweightsensors
undertheseat.AlthoughHonda
doesnotencouragecarryingan
infantorsmallchildinfront,ifthe
sensorsdetecttheweightofan
infantorsmallchild(uptoabout65
lbsor29kg),thesystemwill
automaticallyturnthepassenger’s
frontairbagoff.
Back-seatpassengersshouldnot
puttheirfeetunderthefrontseats.
Ifthereisaproblemwiththesensor,
theSRSindicatorwillcomeon,and
theairbagwillinflateinthenormal
mannerregardlessofthedriver’s
seatingposition.
Failuretofollowtheseinstructions
coulddamagethesensorsorprevent
themfromworkingproperly.
