Power windows
Fully opening the door windows
(Express-open)
Hinged quarter windows*
i If the upward movement of a door window is
blocked during the closing procedure, the door
window will stop and open slightly.
The switches for opening and closing the
hinged quarter windows are located on the
door control panel of the driver’s door
(୴ page 35).

Press switch 1, 2, 3, or 6

୴ page 248) past the resistance point ̈ Remove the obstruction.

Pull the respective door window switch
past the resistance point again and
release.
The corresponding door window opens
completely.
i If the door window still does not close when
there is no obstruction, pull and hold the respec-
tive power window switch. The door window will
then close without the obstruction sensor
function.

̈ Press and release switch 1.
To stop the hinged quarter window:
Driver’s door only:
If within 5 seconds switch is again pulled
past the resistance point and released, the
automatic reversal will not function.

Press and release switch 1 once
more.
