Allowthebelttoretract.Asthebeltretracts,youwillhearaclicking
sound.Thisindicatesthesafetybeltisnowintheautomaticlocking
mode.
Howtodisengagetheautomaticlockingmode
Unbucklethecombinationlapandshoulderbeltandallowittoretract
completelytodisengagetheautomaticlockingmodeandactivatethe
vehiclesensitivemode.
WARNING:Afteranyvehiclecollision,thecombinationlapand
shoulderbeltsystematallpassengerseatingpositionsmustbe
checkedbyanauthorizeddealertoverifythatthe“automaticlocking
retractor”featureforchildseatsisstillfunctioningproperly,inaddition
tootherchecksforpropersafetybeltsystemfunction.
WARNING:BELTANDRETRACTORASSEMBLYMUSTBE
REPLACEDifthesafetybeltassembly“automaticlocking
retractor”featureoranyothersafetybeltfunctionisnotoperating
properly.Inaddition,allsafetybeltsshouldbecheckedforproper
function.Failuretoreplacethebeltandretractorassemblycould
increasetheriskofinjuryincollisions.

Thesafetybeltpretensionertightensthesafetybeltsfirmlyagainstthe
