Toresettheoilmonitoringsystemto100%aftereachoilchange
(approximately7,500miles[12,000km]orsixmonths)performthe
following:

PressandholdtheSELECT/RESETstemformorethantwoseconds.
Oillifeissetto100%andOILLIFESETTO100%isdisplayed.
Note:Tochangeoillife100%milesvaluefrom7,500miles(12,000km)
orsixmonthstoanothervalue,proceedtoStep3.

OnceOILLIFESETTO100%isdisplayed,release,pressandholdthe
SELECT/RESETstemformorethantwosecondstochangetheoillife
startvalue.Eachrelease,pressandholdwillreducethevalueby10%.
3.
Aftersettingtheoillifestartvalue,presstheSELECT/RESETstem
forthenextsetupmenuitemorwaitformorethanfoursecondsto
returntotheinfomenu.
Note:OilLifeStartValueof100%equals7,500miles(12,000km)orsix
months.Forexample,settingoillifestartvalueto60%setstheoillife
startvalueto3,000miles(4,800km)and120days.
COMPASS(ifequipped)
ThecompassheadingisdisplayedasoneofN,NE,E,SE,S,SW,Wand
NWinthemessagecenterdisplay.
Thecompassreadingmaybeaffectedwhenyoudrivenearlarge
buildings,bridges,powerlinesandpowerfulbroadcastantenna.Magnetic
ormetallicobjectsplacedin,onornearthevehiclemayalsoaffect
compassaccuracy.
Usually,whensomethingaffectsthecompassreadings,thecompasswill
correctitselfafterafewdaysofoperatingyourvehicleinnormal
conditions.Ifthecompassstillappearstobeinaccurate,amanual
calibrationmaybenecessary.RefertoCompasszone/calibration
adjustment.
