Boththedriver’sandpassenger’ssafetybeltusagesaremonitoredand
eithermayactivatetheBelt-Minder௡feature.Thewarningsarethesame
forthedriverandthefrontpassenger.IftheBelt-Minder௡warningshave
expired(warningsforapproximatelyfiveminutes)foroneoccupant
(driverorfrontpassenger),theotheroccupantcanstillactivatethe
Belt-Minder௡feature.
WhentheBelt-Minder௡featureisactivated,thesafetybeltwarninglight
illuminatesandthewarningchimesoundsforsixsecondsevery
30
seconds,repeatingforapproximatelyfiveminutesoruntilthesafety
beltsarebuckled.
TheBelt-Minder௡featureusestwodifferentwarningchimes.Duringthe
firstminuteofactivation,thewarningchimewillsoundonceevery
second.Theremainingwarningchimeswillsoundtwiceeverysecond
whilethesystemisactivated.
