PlacethetransmissioninN(Neutral).
Pressthedesired4WDposition.
Ifshiftinginto4x4LOW(4WDLow),waitforthe4X4LOWlightin
theinstrumentclustertoturnonindicatingtheshiftiscomplete.

Ifshiftingoutof4X4LOW(4WDLow),waitforthe4X4LOWlightin
theinstrumentclustertoturnoffindicatingtheshiftiscomplete.
Ifanyoftheaboveshiftconditionsarenotmet,theshiftwillnotoccur
andthemessagecenterwilldisplaytheappropriateinformation.
ALL WHEEL DRIVE (AWD)  SYSTEM (IF EQUIPPED)
ForthelubricantspecificationandrefillcapacityoftheAWDtransfer
caserefertoMaintenanceandSpecificationschapter.
WARNING:IfyourvehicleisequippedwithAWD,asparetireof
adifferentsizethantheroadtiresshouldneverbeused.Sucha
tirecouldmakethevehicledifficulttocontrolaswellasresultin
damagetodrivelinecomponents.
WARNING:Utilityandfour-wheeldrivevehiclesarenot
designedforcorneringatspeedsashighaspassengercarsany
morethanlow-slungsportscarsaredesignedtoperformsatisfactorily
underoff-roadconditions.Avoidsharpturnsorabruptmaneuversin

Normal operation (4.0L engine  vehicles only)
TheAWDsystemisalwaysactiveandrequiresnodriverinput.Itis
capableofhandlingallroadconditions,includingstreetandhighway
drivingaswellasoff-roadconditionssuchasdeepsnow,iceorshallow
sand.
