Ifthereisanaccumulationofsnowontherear
window,removeitbeforeusingthedefroster.
Therearwindowdefrosterclearsfrost,
fog,andthinicefromtherearwindow.
qMirrorDefrosterí
TheignitionswitchmustbeintheON
position.
Toturnonthemirrordefrosters,turnthe
ignitionswitchtotheONpositionand
presstherearwindowdefrosterswitch
(page5-69).
Presstheswitchtoturnontherear
windowdefroster.Therearwindow
defrosteroperatesforabout15minutes
andturnsoffautomatically.
Theindicatorlightilluminatesduring
operation.
Thedefrosteroperationcanbeconfirmed
bytheindicatorinthedisplay.
Toturnofftherearwindowdefroster
beforethe15minuteshaselapsed,press
theswitchagain.
Indicator light
CAUTION
Donotusesharpinstrumentsor
windowcleanerswithabrasivesto
cleantheinsideoftherearwindow
surface.Theymaydamagethe
defrostergridinsidethewindow.
