qReplacingWindshieldWiperBlades
4. Tiltthebladeassemblyandremoveit
fromthearm.
Whenthewipersnolongercleanwell,the
bladesareprobablywornorcracked.
Replacethem.
CAUTION
Topreventdamagetothewiperarms
andothercomponents,don'ttryto
sweepthewiperarmbyhand.
NOTE
Topreventdamagetothewiperarmblades
whenraisingboththedriverandpassenger
sidewiperarms,raisethedriversidewiper
armfirst.Conversely,whensettingdownthe
wiperarms,setthepassengersidewiperarm
downfirst.
CAUTION
Topreventdamagetothewindshield
letthewiperarmdowneasily,don't
letitslapdownonthewindshield.

Raisethewiperarm.
Opentheclipandslidetheblade
5. Pulldownthebladerubberandslideit
outofbladeholder.
assemblyinthedirectionofthearrow.

Wrapaflatheadscrewdriverorsimilar
toolwithasoftclothtoprevent
damagetotheclip.
NOTE
Usingasoftcloth-wrappedflathead
screwdriver.
