theirseatbelts,wesuggestleavingthe
center-rearlappositionofthebeltfastened
atalltimesexceptwhenfoldingtherear
seatforward.
Ifyourseatbeltisnotlongenough,even
whenfullyextended,aseatbeltextender
maybeavailabletoyouatnochargefrom
yourAuthorizedMazdaDealer.
Thisextenderwillbeonlyforyouandfor
theparticularvehicleandseat.Evenifit
plugsintootherseatbelts,itmaynothold
inthecriticalmomentofacrash.
Whenorderinganextender,onlyorder
onethatprovidesthenecessaryadditional
lengthtofastentheseatbeltproperly.
PleasecontactyourAuthorizedMazda
Dealerformoreinformation.
Pullingtheseatbeltallthewayoutwill
l
switchittoautomaticlockingmode.If
automaticlockingmodeisnotneeded,
retracttheseatbeltfullytoconvertitback
toemergencylockingmode.
qRe-attachingtheSeatBeltafterthe
MiddleRowSeatbacksare
ReturnedtotheirUprightPositions
Tore-attachthecenterseatbeltafterthe
middlerowseatsarereturnedtotheir
uprightpositions,grasptheseatbelt
tongue(A)andinsertitintotheseatbelt
anchorbuckle(B)untilyouhearaclick
sound.Itisnowsecureforpassengeruse.
NOTE
Afterreturningtheleft-rearseatbacktoits
uprightposition,guidetheshoulderportionof
thebeltcorrectlythroughtheseatbeltguide
andfastenthelapportionofthebelt.
