requirementsregulatingtheimpulse
electricalfieldstrengthofradionoise.
Theadvancedkeymustbecarriedbecause
theadvancedkeycarriesanimmobilizer
chipthatmustcommunicatewiththeengine
controlsatshortrange.
Whenstartingtheengine,besurethestart
knobissecurelyattachedbeforetryingto
operateit.Iftheknobbecomesdetached
fromtheignitionswitch,re-attachitby
pushingitontotheignitionswitch.

theengineisstarted.Thewarninglights
(exceptbrakes)shouldbeinspected
beforetheengineisstarted(page5-43).

WhentheignitionswitchisturnedtotheON
position,thesoundofthefuelpumpmotor
operatingnearthefueltankcanbeheard.This
doesnotindicateanabnormality.

thenitreturnstotheONposition.The
brakewarninglightcanbecheckedafter
theengineisstarted(page5-43).
