switch must be in the ACC or ON position).
Indicates the shift lever can be shifted freely into any position.

Thebeepsoundstoindicateengineoverrevwhenthetachometerneedleentersthestripedzone.
Thedisplayofthevariableredzoneinthetachometerchangesaccordingtothetemperatureofthe
enginecoolant.Toprotecttheengine,whentheenginecoolanttemperatureislow,theenginedoes
notrunathighspeeds.Thefuelsupplywillbecutatanrpmlowerthantheredzone.

shouldalsobeawarethatyoucaninadvertentlyshiftintomanualshiftmodeandaninappropriate
gearmayberetainedasthevehiclespeedincreases.Ifyounoticetheenginespeedgoinghigher
orheartheengineracing,confirmyouhavenotaccidentallyslippedintomanualshiftmode(page
