Donotreplacethexenonfusionbulbs
yourself:
1.
Makesuretheignitionswitchisturned
offandtheheadlightswitchisoff.
Replacingthexenonfusionbulbs
yourselfisdangerous.Becausethe
xenonfusionbulbsrequirehigh
voltage,youcouldreceiveanelectric
shockifthebulbsarehandled
incorrectly.ConsultanAuthorized
MazdaDealerwhenthereplacement
isnecessary.
2.
Ifyouarechangingtherightheadlight
bulb,starttheengine,turnthesteering
wheelallthewaytotheright,andturn
offengine.Ifyouarechangingtheleft
headlightbulb,turnthesteeringwheel
totheleft.
3.
Turnthecentersectionoftheplastic
retainercounterclockwiseandremove
theretainersandpartiallypeelbackthe
mudguard.
Nevertouchtheglassportionofa
halogenbulbwithyourbarehandsand
alwaysweareyeprotectionwhen
handlingorworkingaroundthebulbs:
Whenahalogenbulbbreaks,itis
dangerous.Thesebulbscontain
pressurizedgas.Ifoneisbroken,it
willexplodeandseriousinjuries
couldbecausedbytheflyingglass.
Iftheglassportionistouchedwith
barehands,bodyoilcouldcausethe
bulbtooverheatandexplodewhen
lit.
Removal
Installation
Alwayskeephalogenbulbsoutofthe
reachofchildren:
Playingwithahalogenbulbis
dangerous.Seriousinjuriescouldbe
causedbydroppingahalogenbulb
orbreakingitsomeotherway.
4. Disconnecttheelectricalconnector
fromthebulbbypressingthetabon
theconnectorwithyourfingerand
pullingtheconnectordownward.

Youcannotreplacethelowbeambulbsby
yourself.
Thebulbsmustbereplacedatan
