Thehazardwarninglightsflashwhenthetheft
deterrentsystemisarmed.

Ontherearparcelshelf
Thehazardwarninglightsdonotflashifall
thedoorsarelockedbeforethetheft-deterrent
systemisproperlyarmed.
Whenthedoorsarelockedbypressingthe
requestswitchonthefrontdoorswhilethe
theft-deterrentsystemisarmed,thehazard
warninglightswillflashoncetoindicatethat
thesystemisarmed.

Startingtheenginemaybepossibleevenif
theadvancedkeyisoutsideofthevehicle
andextremelyclosetoadoorandwindow,
however,alwaysstarttheenginefromthe
driver'sseat.
Ifthevehicleisstartedanddrivenaway
whiletheadvancedkeyisnotinthevehicle,
thevehiclewillnotrestartafteritisturned
offandtheignitionswitchisturnedtothe
Lockposition.

Iftheadvancedkeyisdetectedwithin
operationalrange,theoperationindicator
lightonthetransmitterflashes

Driver'sdoorrequestswitch
Tounlockthedriver'sdoor,pressthe
requestswitch.Abeepsoundwillbe
heardtwiceandthehazardwarninglights
willflashtwice.
Tounlockalldoors,presstherequest
switchagainwithin3secondsandtwo
morebeepsoundswillbeheard.

qLocking,UnlockingtheDoors
withRequestSwitch
Alldoorscanbelocked/unlockedby
pressingtherequestswitchonthefront
doorswhiletheadvancedkeyisbeing
carried.

Thehazardwarninglightsflashwhenthetheft
deterrentsystemisturnedoff.
Thehazardwarninglightsdonotflashunless
thetheftdeterrentsystemhasbeenproperly
turnedoff.
Whenthedoorsareunlockedbypressingthe
requestswitchonthefrontdoorswhilethe
theft-deterrentsystemisturnedoff,thehazard
warninglightswillflashtwicetoindicatethat
thesystemisturnedoff.
