Thiswarninglightilluminateswhenthe
switchisturnedandturnsoffwhenthe
engineisstarted.
1. Drivetothesideoftheroadandpark
offtheright-of-way.
2.
Turnofftheengineandinspectthe
engineoillevel(page8-13).Ifit'slow,
addoil.
Ifthewarninglightilluminateswhile
driving,itindicatesamalfunctionofthe
alternatororofthechargingsystem.
Drivetothesideoftheroadandparkoff
theright-of-way.ConsultanAuthorized
MazdaDealer.
3. Checkthelight.
Iftheengineoillevelwarninglightis
illuminatedandyouareunableto
CAUTION
immediatelyaddengineoil,donotdrive
athighspeed,keeptheenginespeedlow
andgettoalocationwhereoilcanbe
addedassoonaspossible.Werecommend
anAuthorizedMazdaDealer.
Donotcontinuedrivingwhenthe
chargingsystemwarninglightis
illuminatedbecausetheenginecould
stopunexpectedly.
Ifthelightremainsilluminatedevenafter
youaddoil,haveyourvehiclecheckedat
anAuthorizedMazdaDealer.

Don'truntheengineiftheoillevelis
low.Itcouldresultinextensive
enginedamage.
Thiswarninglightindicatesalowengine
oillevelwhiletheengineisrunningby
brieflyflashingthelightandthenfully
illuminatingit.
Ifthereisaproblemwiththesystem,the
lightflashescontinuously.
