Pullthefusestraightoutwiththefuse
pullerprovidedontheinsideofthe
enginecompartmentfuseblockcover.
Replacingthefusesunderthehood
Iftheheadlightsorotherelectrical
componentsdonotworkandthefusesin
thecabinarenormal,inspectthefuse
blockunderthehood.Ifafuseisblown,it
mustbereplaced.Followthesesteps:

Turnofftheignitionswitchandall
otherswitches.
Removethefuseblockcover.
Next to air filter

Inspectthefuseandreplaceitifit's
blown.

Insertanewfuseofthesameamperage
rating,andmakesureitfitstightly.Ifit
doesnotfittightly,haveanexpert
installit.Werecommendan

AuthorizedMazdaDealer.
Ifyouhavenosparefuses,borrowone
ofthesameratingfromacircuitnot
essentialtovehicleoperation,suchas
theAUDIOorCIGARcircuit.
NOTE
Removetheengineandbatterycoversbefore
removingthefuseblockcovernearthebattery.
CAUTION
Alwaysreplaceafusewithoneofthe
samerating.Otherwiseyoumay
damagetheelectricsystem.
