completeIDsignalcoderegistration.
CAUTION
ØWhenreplacing/repairingthetires
orwheelsorboth,havethework
donebyanAuthorizedMazda
Dealer,orthetirepressuresensors
maybedamaged.
ØThewheelsequippedonyour
Mazdaarespeciallydesignedfor
installationofthetirepressure
sensors.Donotusenon-genuine
wheels,otherwiseitmaynotbe
possibletoinstallthetirepressure
sensors.
Whenhavingtireschangedatan
AuthorizedMazdaDealer
TirepressuresensorIDsignalcode
registrationiscompletedwhenan
AuthorizedMazdaDealerchangesyour
vehicle'stires.
Whenchangingtiresyourself
Besuretohavethetirepressuresensors
installedwhenevertiresorwheelsare
replaced.
Whenhavingatireorwheelorboth
replaced,thefollowingtypesoftire
pressuresensorinstallationsarepossible.
Ifyouorsomeoneelsechangestires,you
orsomeoneelsecanalsoundertakethe
stepsfortheTPMStocompletetheID
signalcoderegistration.

Aftertireshavebeenchanged,turnthe
ignitionswitchtotheONposition,then
turnitbacktotheACCorLOCK
position.
Thetirepressuresensorisremoved
fromtheoldwheelandinstalledtothe
newone.
Thesametirepressuresensorisused
withthesamewheel.Onlythetireis
replaced.

Waitforabout15minutes.
Afterabout15minutes,drivethe
vehicleataspeedofatleast25km/h
Anewtirepressuresensorisinstalled
toanewwheel.

pressuresensorIDsignalcodewillbe
registeredautomatically.

ThetirepressuresensorIDsignalcode

mustberegisteredwhenanewtirepressure
sensorispurchased.Forpurchaseofatire
pressuresensorandregistrationofthetire
pressuresensorIDsignalcode,consultan
AuthorizedMazdaDealer.
Whenreinstallingapreviouslyremovedtire
pressuresensortoawheel,replacethe
grommet(sealbetweenvalvebody/sensor
andwheel)forthetirepressuresensor.
Ifthevehicleisdrivenwithinabout15minutes
ofchangingtires,thetirepressuremonitoring
systemwarninglightwillflashbecausethe
sensorIDsignalcodewouldnothavebeen
registered.Ifthishappens,parkthevehiclefor
about15minutes,afterwhichthesensorID
signalcodewillregisterupondrivingthe
vehiclefor10minutes.
