Ø Donotspillanyliquidsonthefrontseatsorunderthefrontseats.
ØToallowthesensorstofunctionproperly,alwaysperformthefollowing:
Ø Adjustthefrontseatsasfarbackaspossibleandalwayssituprightagainstthe
seatbackswithseatbeltswornproperly.
Ø Ifyouplaceyourchildonthefrontpassengerseat,securethechild-restraint
systemproperlyandslidethefrontpassengerseatasfarbackaspossible(page
2-32).
NOTE
Thesystemrequiresabout10secondstoalternatebetweenturningthefrontpassengerfrontand
sideairbagsandseatbeltpretensionersystemonoroff.

Thefrontpassengerairbagdeactivationindicatorlightmayilluminaterepeatedlyifluggageor
otheritemsareputonthefrontpassengerseat,orifthetemperatureofthevehicle'sinterior
changessuddenly.

Thefrontpassengerairbagdeactivationindicatorlightmayilluminatefor10secondsifthetotal
seatedweightonthefrontpassengerseatchanges.
Ifthefrontpassengerairbagdeactivationindicatorlightdoesnotilluminateafterinstallinga
child-restraintsystemonthefrontpassengerseat,installthechild-restraintsystemontherear
seatandconsultanAuthorizedMazdaDealerassoonaspossible.

Driverandfrontpassengerbuckleswitches
Thebuckleswitchesonthefrontseatbeltsdetectwhetherornotthefrontseatbeltsare
securelyfastenedandfurthercontrolthedeploymentoftheairbags.
