Replacing bulbs

X Turn housing cover; counterclockwise
and remove it.
Opening the driver’s side trim panel
X Turn bulb socketC with the bulb
counterclockwise and remove it.
X Pull the bulb out of bulb socketC.
X Gently press the new bulb into bulb socket
C.
X Place bulb socketC back into the housing
and turn it clockwise until it engages.
X Align housing cover; and turn it
clockwise until it engages.
X Turn lock: counterclockwise by 90°.
X Remove cover;.
Parking and standing lamp bulb,
front turn signal lamp bulb,
side marker lamp bulb
X Turn respective bulb socket=,? orA

counterclockwise and remove it.
X Pull the bulb out of the bulb socket.
X Gently press the new bulb into the bulb
socket.
X Place bulb socket=,? orA back into
the housing and turn it clockwise until it
engages.
X Remove everything from storage
compartment?.
Replacing bulbs for rear lamps
X Insert a suitable object such as a coin into
the slot of lock=.
X Turn lock= counterclockwise by 90°.
Before you start to replace a bulb for a rear
lamp, do the following:
X Remove storage compartment?.
X Switch off the ignition.
X Turn the exterior lamp switch to position

Opening the passenger-side trim panel

Tail lamp unit
To access the tail lamp units, you first have to
remove the cover in the corresponding side
trim panel of the cargo compartment.
X Open the tailgate.
