Yourvehicleiscapableoftowingatrailerupto454kg(1000lbs.)gross
trailerweightwithamaximumtongueloadof45kg(100lbs.).Donot
towatraileruntilyourvehiclehasbeendrivenatleast800km
(500
miles).
Towingatrailerplacesanadditionalloadonyourvehicle’sengine,
transaxle,brakes,tiresandsuspension.Inspectthesecomponents
carefullyaftertowing.
DonotexceedtheGVWRortheGAWRspecifiedonthe
certificationlabel.
Towingtrailersbeyondthemaximumrecommendedgrosstrailer
weightexceedsthelimitofthevehicleandcouldresultin
enginedamage,transaxledamage,structuraldamage,lossofcontrol,
andpersonalinjury.
Preparing to tow
Usetheproperequipmentfortowingatrailer,andmakesureitis
