Removethejumpercablefromthepositive(+)terminalofthe
disabledvehicle’sbattery.
Afterthedisabledvehiclehasbeenstartedandthejumpercables
removed,allowittoidleforseveralminutessotheenginecomputercan
relearnitsidleconditions.
Whenthebatteryisdisconnectedoranewbatteryisinstalled,the
transmissionmustrelearnitsadaptivestrategy.Asaresultofthis,the
transmissionmayshiftfirmly.Thisoperationisconsiderednormaland
willnoteffectfunctionordurabilityofthetransmission.Overtime,the
adaptivelearningprocesswillfullyupdatetransmissionoperationtoits
optimumshiftfeel.
