Reminder Indicator Light
Operation of a turn signal is indicated
by the warning light located in the in-
strument cluster. If the light fails to
illuminateordoesnotflash,amalfunc-
tion within the turn signal system is
indicated.
The SRS service reminder indicator
(SRI)comesonandflashesforabout 6
seconds after the ignition key is turned
to the "ON" position or after the engine
is started, after which it will go out.
ThislightalsocomesonwhentheSRS
is not working properly.

Immobiliser Indicator

secondswhenyouturnedtheignition
key to the "ON" position or started the
engine, or if it comes on whilst driving,
havetheSRSinspectedbyanHyundai
authorisedrepairer.
This indicator light comes on for some
seconds after the ignition key is turned
to the "ON" position. At this time, you
canstarttheengine.Thelightgoesout
after the engine is running. In case this
light goes out before you start the en-
gine, you must turn to the "LOCK"
positionandrestarttheengine.Incase
this light blinks for five seconds when
the ignition key is turned to "ON" posi-
tion, this indicates that the immobiliser
system is out of order.
Theelectronicstabilityprogramindica-
torschangeoperationaccordingtothe
ignitionswitchpositionandwhether the
system is in operation or not.
They will illuminate when the ignition
key is turned to the "ON" position, but
shouldgooutafterthreeseconds.Ifthe
ESP or ESP-OFF indicator stays on,
takeyourcartoyourHyundaiauthorised
repairerandhavethesystemchecked.
