Beforetowing,checkthelevelofthe
automatic transaxle fluid. If it is be-
lowthe"HOT"rangeonthedipstick,
add fluid. If you cannot add fluid, a
towing dolly must be used.

nottocausedamagetothebumper
or underbody of the vehicle.

If any of the loaded wheels or sus-
pension components are damaged
orthevehicleisbeingtowedwiththe
front wheels on the ground, use a
towing dolly under the front wheels.
o ManualTransaxle:
Ifyoudonotuseatowingdolly,place
theignitionkeyinthe"ACC"position
andputthetransaxlein"N(Neutral)".

Avehiclewithanautomatictransaxle
shouldneverbetowedfromtherear
withthefrontwheelsontheground.
This can cause serious damage to
thetransaxle.

o Donottowwithslingtypetruckas
this may cause damage to the
bumper or underbody of the ve-
hicle.
CAUTION:
Do not tow with the key removed or
inthe"LOCK"positionwhentowing
fromtherearwithoutatowingdolly.
3) It is recommended that your vehicle
be towed with all the wheels off the
ground.

If the vehicle is being towed with the
rear wheels on the ground, be sure
the parking brake is released.
o Automatic Transaxle:
Be sure to use a towing dolly under
the front wheels.
