Air Intake Control
With the "Fresh" mode selected, air
entersthevehiclefromtheoutsideand
is heated or cooled according to the
function selected.

Withthe"Recirculation"modeselected,
airfromwithinthepassengercompart-
mentwillbedrawnthroughtheheating
systemandheatedorcooledaccording
to the function selected.
NOTE:
o Itshouldbenotedthatprolonged
operationoftheheatingin"Recir-
culation" mode will increase fog-
ging of the windscreen and side
windows and the air within the
passenger compartment will be-
comestale.Inaddition,prolonged
use of the air conditioning with
the"Recirculation"modeselected
may result in the air within the
passenger compartment becom-
ingexcessively dry.

Fornormalheatingoperation,settheair
intake control to the "Fresh" position
and the air flow control to "Floor".
This is used to select fresh outside air
or recirculation inside air.
To change the air intake control mode,
(Freshmode,Recirculationmode)push
the control button.
Forfasterheating,theairintakecontrol
should be in the "Recirculation" posi-
tion.
FRESH MODE ( ) : The indicator
lightonthebuttongoesoffwhentheair
intake control is in fresh mode.
Ifthewindowsfogup,movetheairflow
controltothe"Def"(defroster)position.
