NOTE
Theindicatorlightilluminatesamber
whentheON/OFFswitchispressedand
thecruisecontrolsystemisactivated.
Ifthebatteryisdisconnectedorafuseis
replaced,theDSCwillbeinoperable.In
thiscase,theDSCOFFindicatorlight
flashesandtheTCS/DSCindicatorlight
illuminates.
TomaketheDSCoperable,dothe
followingprocedurewiththebattery
connected.
CruiseSetIndicatorLight(Green)
Theindicatorlightilluminatesgreenwhen
acruisingspeedhasbeenset.
qTurn-Signal/HazardWarning
IndicatorLights

TurntheignitionswitchtotheON
position.
Turnthesteeringclockwisefully,
thenturnitcounterclockwisefully.
MakesuretheDSCOFFindicator
goesoff.
TurntheignitionswitchtotheOFF
position,thenturnittotheON
positionagain.
Whenoperatingtheturnsignallights,the
leftorrightturnsignalindicatorlight
flashestoindicatewhichturnsignallight
isoperating(page5-54).

MakesuretheTCS/DSCindicator
lightgoesoff.
Whenoperatingthehazardwarning
lights,bothturnsignalindicatorlights
flash(page5-57).
IftheTCS/DSCindicatorlightandthe
DSCOFFindicatorlightremain
illuminatedevenafterturningthe
ignitionswitchtotheONposition,
consultanAuthorizedMazdaDealer.
NOTE
Ifanindicatorlightremainsilluminated
(doesnotflash)orifitflashes
abnormally,oneoftheturnsignalbulbs
maybeburnedout.
