sleeveofthelapportionofthedriver's
seatbelt.Whenanaccidentoccurswhile
theseatbeltisinuse,theresultingstress
ontheseatbeltwillcauseanindicator
withthewords“REPLACEBELT”
visibleonittobepulledoutofthesleeve
belowthecautionlabel.Thisindicates
thatTHESEATBELTMUSTBE
REPLACED.
Alsonotethatifatanytimetheseatbelt
hasundergonestressbecauseofan
accidentorotherreason,damagetothe
seatbelt'swebbing,metalfittings,or
anchorboltmayhaveoccurred,even
thoughnothingappearstobewrongwith
theseatbelt.Forthisreasonwe

SeatBelt:
Thelapportionoftheseatbeltworn
toohighisdangerous.Inacollision,
thiswouldconcentratetheimpact
forcedirectlyontheabdominalarea,
causingseriousinjury.Wearthelap
portionofthebeltsnuglyandaslow
aspossible.
