Scratchesoccuronthepaintsurface

cleaners,orstrongdetergents
containinghighlyalkalineorcaustic
agentsonchrome-platedoranodized
aluminumparts.Thismaydamage
theprotectivecoating;also,cleaners
anddetergentsmaydiscoloror
deterioratethepaint.
Thevehicleiswashedwithoutfirst

rinsingoffdirtandotherforeign
matter.
Thevehicleiswashedwitharough,

dry,ordirtycloth.
Thevehicleiswashedatacarwash
thatusesbrushesthataredirtyortoo
stiff.
l
Topreventdamagingtheantenna,
l
removeitbeforeenteringacarwash
facilityorpassingbeneathalow
overheadclearance.
Cleansersorwaxcontainingabrasives
l
areused.
Payspecialattentiontoremovingsalt,
dirt,mud,andotherforeignmaterialfrom
theundersideofthefenders,andmake
surethedrainholesintheloweredgesof
thedoorsandrockerpanelsareclean.
