power from the vehicle’s battery, even when not
in use (i.e. cellular phones, etc.). Eventually, if
pluggedinlongenough,thevehicle’sbatterywill
discharge sufficiently to  degrade battery life
and/orpreventenginestarting.
REARSHELFPANEL—IFEQUIPPED
Therearshelfpanelattachestoguidesintherearcargo
area.Therearshelfpanelmaybeinstalledinoneoffive
differentpositions.

NOTE: The liftgate may be opened or closed with the
rearcargoshelfpanelinposition1,position2,position3
orposition4.

Accessories that draw higher power (i.e. coolers,
vacuum cleaners, lights, etc.), will degrade the
battery even more quickly. Only use these inter-
mittentlyandwithgreatercaution.
After the use of high power draw accessories, or
longperiodsofthevehiclenotbeingstarted(with
accessories still plugged in), the vehicle must be
driven a sufficient length of time to allow the
generatortorechargethevehicle’sbattery.
