needit.Youcouldbeinjurediftheairbagsystemisnottheretoprotectyou.
Do not modify the components or wiring, including adding any kind of
badgesorstickerstothesteeringwheelhubtrimcoverortheupperrightside
of the instrument panel. Do not modify the front bumper, vehicle body
structure,oraddaftermarketsidestepsorrunningboards.
Donotattempttomodifyanypartofyouradvancedairbagsystem.Theairbag
may inflate accidentally or may not function properly if modifications are
made. Take your vehicle to an authorized dealer for any advanced airbag
systemservice.Ifyourseatincludingyourtrimcoverandcushionneedstobe
serviced in any way (including removal or loosening/tightening of seat
attachmentbolts),takethevehicletoyourauthorizeddealer.Onlymanufac-
turerapprovedseataccessoriesmaybeused.Ifitisnecessarytomodifyan
advancedairbagsystemforpersonswithdisabilities,contactyourauthorized
dealer.

It is not advisable to drive your vehicle after the
airbagshavedeployed.Ifyouareinvolvedinanother
collision,theairbagswillnotbeinplacetoprotectyou.

Deployedairbagsandseatbeltpretensionerscannot
protect you in another collision. Have the airbags,
seatbeltpretensioners,andthefrontpassengerseat
belt retractor assembly, replaced by an authorized
dealerassoonaspossible.Also,havetheOccupant
ClassificationSystemservicedaswell.

Donotplaceorhanganyitemssuchasadd-onvideoplayersontherightfront
passengerseatback.TheadditionalweightmaycausetheOccupantClassifi-
cationSystemtobeunabletocorrectlyclassifytherightfrontoccupant.This
couldallowthepassengerfrontalairbagtoinflatewhenitisnotdesired.

Youneedproperkneeimpactprotectioninacollision.Donotmountorlocate
anyaftermarketequipmentonorbehindthekneebolsters/driverinflatable
kneeblocker.
Itisdangeroustotrytorepairanypartoftheairbagsystemyourself.Besure
totellanyonewhoworksonyourvehiclethatithasanairbagsystem.
