Pushtheseatdownandlatchto

Makesuretheseatislatchedto
thefloor.
3.
Bringtheseatbacktoanupright
position.Theseatbackshouldlock
intoposition.
Note:Iftheseatbackwillnot
returntotheuprightposition,
tumbletheseatagainandre-latchittothefloor.Besurethatcargoor
otherobjectsarenottrappedunderneaththeseatback.
Beforereturningtheseatbacktoitsoriginalposition,makesure
thatcargooranyobjectsarenottrappedbehindtheseatback.
Afterreturningtheseatbacktoitsoriginalposition,pullonthe
seatbacktoensurethatithasfullylatched.Anunlatchedseatmay
becomedangerousintheeventofasuddenstoporcollision.
Note:Invehiclesequippedwith3rdrowseats,the2ndrow
recline/unlatchhandleontheoutboardsidesofboth60%and40%seats
shouldnotbeusedasagrabhandletoraisetheentireseatupfrom
cargomode(kneelingposition),ortoloweritfromitstumbledposition.
Thishandleisthereonlytoreclinetheseatback,andtounlatchtherear
seat/floorattachment,inordertotumbletheseatintheforward
direction.Toraisetheseatupfromthecargomode(kneelingposition),
theentireseatshouldbeliftedupusingtheseatbackortheseat
cushionareaasagrabbingsurface.
