youcannotfindaseatingposition
thatadequatelysupportsyour
child’shead,ahighbackbooster
seatwouldbeabetterchoice.
Eithertypecanbeusedatanyseatingpositionequippedwith
lap/shoulderbeltsifyourchildisover40lb.(18kg).
Ifneeded,wheninstallingsomehighbackchildrestraints,thehead
restraintsofthesecondrowseatingpositionscanberemoved.Inserta
thinpointedobject,suchasapapercliporpushpin,intotheholeof
eachheadrestraintguideandwhileliftingupremovetheheadrestraint.
Storetheheadrestraintinasecurelocationinthevehicle.Tore-install
theheadrestraint,linethepostsupintheholesontheseatbackwith
theheadrestraintstrapfacingtheoutsideofthevehicleandpushdown
untiltheheadrestraintlocksintoplace.Liftgentlytoensureitislocked
intoplace.
Iftheheadrestrainthasbeenremovedfromaseatingpositionto
accommodateahighbackchildrestraint,theheadrestraintmust
bere-installedpriortouseoftheseatbyanyotheroccupantinorder
toreducetheriskofpersonalinjuryintheeventofacollision.
