Tocheckthepressureinyourtire(s):

Makesurethetiresarecool,meaningtheyarenothotfromdriving
evenamile.
Ifyouarecheckingtirepressurewhenthetireishot,(i.e.drivenmore
than1mile[1.6km]),never“bleed”orreduceairpressure.Thetiresare
hotfromdrivinganditisnormalforpressurestoincreaseabove
recommendedcoldpressures.Ahottireatorbelowrecommendedcold
inflationpressurecouldbesignificantlyunder-inflated.
Note:Ifyouhavetodriveadistancetogetairforyourtire(s),check
andrecordthetirepressurefirstandaddtheappropriateairpressure
whenyougettothepump.Itisnormalfortirestoheatupandtheair
pressureinsidetogoupasyoudrive.

Removethecapfromthevalveononetire,thenfirmlypressthetire
gaugeontothevalveandmeasurethepressure.

Addenoughairtoreachtherecommendedairpressure
Note:Ifyouoverfillthetire,releaseairbypushingonthemetalstemin
thecenterofthevalve.Thenrecheckthepressurewithyourtiregauge.

Replacethevalvecap.
Repeatthisprocedureforeachtire,includingthespare.
Note:Somesparetiresoperateatahigherinflationpressurethanthe
