STABILITY ENHANCEMENT SYSTEM
TheAdvanceTrac௡withRSCsystemprovidesstabilityenhancement
featuressuchasRollStabilityControl௢(RSC),ElectronicStability
Control(ESC)andTractionControl(TCS)forcertaindrivingsituations.
ThesystemincludesanAdvanceTrac௡withRSCon/offbutton,anda
“slidingcar”iconintheinstrumentcluster.
Somedriversmaynoticeaslightmovementofthebrakepedalwhenthe
AdvanceTrac௡withRSCperformsasystemself-check.During
AdvanceTrac௡withRSCoperationyoumayexperiencethefollowing:

Arumble,grunting,orgrindingnoiseafterstartupandwhendriving
off

Aslightdecelerationofthevehicle
TheAdvanceTrac௡withRSCindicatorlightwillflashwhenthesystem
isactivated.

Ifyourfootisonthebrakepedal,youwillfeelavibrationinthe
pedal.
Ifthedrivingconditionissevereandyourfootisnotonthebrake,the
brakepedalwillmovetoapplyhigherbrakeforces.Youmayalsohear
awhooshofairfromundertheinstrumentpanelduringthissevere
condition.
TractionControl
TractionControlhelpsyourvehiclemaintaintraction,whendrivingon
slipperyand/orhillyroadsurfaces,bydetectingandcontrollingwheel
spin.Excessivewheelspiniscontrolledbymomentarilyreducingengine
powerand/orapplyingtheanti-lockbrakes.TractionControlisadriver
aidthathelpsyourvehicle.
