Opening the center air vents
Side air vent 2 and/or b
(୴ page 182) is closed.
The indicator lamp on the button
comes on.

Turn thumbwheel 5 and/or 8
(୴ page 182) to the right.
The climate control switches to the
following functions automatically:
Center air vent 6 and/or 7
(୴ page 182) is open.
Front defroster
You can use this setting to defrost the
windshield, for example if it is iced up.
You can also defog the windshield and the
side windows.

heating power

air flows onto the windshield and
the front side windows (side air
vents must be open)

i Keep this setting selected only until the
windshield or the side windows are clear again.
