lithiumbatteryCR2032orequivalent.
Toreplacethebattery:
1.
Twistathincoinintheslotofthe
IKTnearthekeyringinorderto
removethebatterycover.
Note:Donotwipeoffanygreaseon
thebatteryterminalsontheback
surfaceofthecircuitboard.
2.
Removetheoldbattery.
Note:Pleaserefertolocal
regulationswhendisposingof
transmitterbatteries.
3.
Insertthenewbattery.Referto
theinstructionsinsidetheIKTfor
thecorrectorientationofthe
battery.Pressthebatterydownto
ensurethatthebatteryisfully
seatedinthebatteryhousingcavity.
4.
Snapthebatterycoverbackonto
thekey.
Note:ReplacementofthebatterywillnotcausetheIKTtobecome
deprogrammedfromyourvehicle.TheIKTshouldoperatenormallyafter
batteryreplacement.
Replacing lost Integrated Keyhead Transmitters (IKTs)
IfyouwouldliketohaveyourIntegratedKeyheadTransmitters
reprogrammedbecauseyoulostone,orwouldliketobuyadditional
IKTs,youcaneitherreprogramthemyourself,ortakeallIKTstoyour
authorizeddealerforreprogramming.

ToprogramanewIntegratedKeyheadTransmitteryourself,referto
ProgrammingsparekeysintheSecuriLockpassiveanti-theftsection
ofthischapter.Note:AtleasttwoIKTsarerequiredtoperformthis
procedureyourself.
Illuminated entry
Theinteriorlamps,parkinglampsandpuddlelamps(ifequipped)
illuminatewhentheIntegratedKeyheadTransmitterorthekeylessentry
systemkeypadisusedtounlockthedoor(s).
