Turntheignitiontothe1(off)positionandremovethesecond
previouslyprogrammedcodedkeyfromtheignition.

Afterthreesecondsbutwithin20secondsofturningtheignitionto
the1(off)positionandremovingthepreviouslyprogrammedcoded
key,insertthenewunprogrammedkey(newkey/valetkey)intothe
ignition.
8.
Turntheignitionfromthe1(off)positiontothe3(on)position.Keep
theignitioninthe3(on)positionforatleastsixseconds.
9.
Removethenewlyprogrammedcodedkeyfromtheignition.
Ifthekeyhasbeensuccessfullyprogrammeditwillstartthevehicle’s
engineandwilloperatetheremoteentrysystem(ifthenewkeyisan
IntegratedKeyheadTransmitter).Thetheftindicatorlightwillilluminate
forthreesecondsandthengoouttoindicatesuccessfulprogramming.
Ifthekeywasnotsuccessfullyprogrammed,itwillnotstartyour
vehicle’sengineand/orwillnotoperatetheremoteentryfeatures.The
theftindicatorlightmayflashonandoff.Wait20secondsandyoumay
repeatSteps1through8.Iffailurerepeats,bringyourvehicletoyour
authorizeddealertohavethenewkey(s)programmed.
Toprogramadditionalnewunprogrammedkey(s),wait20secondsand
thenrepeatthisprocedurefromStep1.
