STABILITY ENHANCEMENT SYSTEM
WARNING:Vehiclemodificationsinvolvingbrakingsystem,
aftermarketroofracks,suspension,steeringsystem,tire
constructionand/orwheel/tiresizemaychangethehandling
characteristicsofthevehicleandmayadverselyaffecttheperformance
oftheAdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡system.Inaddition,installingany
stereoloudspeakersmayinterferewithandadverselyaffectthe
AdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡system.Installanyaftermarketstereo
loudspeakerasfaraspossiblefromthefrontcenterconsole,the
tunnel,andthefrontseatsinordertominimizetheriskofinterfering
withtheAdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡sensors.Reducingtheeffectiveness
oftheAdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡systemcouldleadtoanincreasedrisk
oflossofvehiclecontrol,vehiclerollover,personalinjuryanddeath.
WARNING:Rememberthatevenadvancedtechnologycannot
defythelawsofphysics.It’salwayspossibletolosecontrolofa
vehicleduetoinappropriatedriverinputfortheconditions.Aggressive
drivingonanyroadconditioncancauseyoutolosecontrolofyour
vehicleincreasingtheriskofpersonalinjuryorpropertydamage.
ActivationoftheAdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡systemisanindicationthat
atleastsomeofthetireshaveexceededtheirabilitytogriptheroad;
thiscouldreducetheoperator’sabilitytocontrolthevehicle,
potentiallyresultinginalossofvehiclecontrol,vehiclerollover,
personalinjuryanddeath.IfyourAdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡system
activates,SLOWDOWN.
WARNING:Ifafailurehasbeendetectedwithinthe
AdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡system,the“slidingcar”icon
will
illuminatesteadily.VerifythattheAdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡systemis
notmanuallydisabled(pushtheAdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡“Off”
buttonlocatedonthecenteroftheinstrumentpanel).Ifthe“sliding
car”icon
stillilluminatessteadily,havethesystemservicedbyan
authorizeddealerimmediately.Operatingyourvehiclewith
AdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡disabledcouldleadtoanincreasedriskof
lossofvehiclecontrol,vehiclerollover,personalinjuryanddeath.
