“Settings”buttonfoundonthenavigationscreen(ifequipped)tosetthe
cameradelayfeaturetoonoroff.
Whentowing,thecamerawillonlyseewhatisbeingtowedbehindthe
vehicle;thismightnotprovideadequatecoverageasitusuallyprovides
innormaloperationandsomeobjectsmightnotbeseen.
Thelensforthecameraislocatedontheliftgate.Keepthelenscleanso
thevideoimageremainsclearandundistorted.Cleanthelenswitha
soft,lint-freeclothandnon-abrasivecleaner.
Note:Ifthecameraimageisnotclearorseemsdistorted,itmaybe
coveredwithwaterdroplets,snow,mudoranyothersubstance.Ifthis
occurs,cleanthecameralensbeforeusingthereversecamera.
WARNING:Thecameraisareverseaidsupplementdevicethat
stillrequiresthedrivertouseitinconjunctionwiththerearview
mirrorandthesidemirrorsformaximumcoverage.
WARNING:Objectsthatareclosetoeithercornerofthe
bumperorunderthebumper,mightnotbeseenonthescreen
duetothelimitedcoverageofthecamera.
WARNING:Backupasslowaspossiblesincehigherspeeds
mightlimityourreactiontimetostopthevehicle.
WARNING:Donotusethecamerawiththeliftgateopen.
Ifthebackendofthevehicleishitordamaged,thencheckwithyour
authorizeddealertohaveyourcameracheckedforpropercoverageand
operation.
Nighttimeanddarkareause
Atnighttimeorindarkareas,thecamerareliesonthereverselamp
lightingtoproduceanimage.Thereforeitisnecessarythatbothreverse
lampsareoperatinginordertogetaclearimageinthedark.Ifeitherof
thelampsarenotoperating,stopusingthecamera,atleastinthedark,
untilthelamp(s)arereplacedandfunctioning.
