duringsuddenorevasivemaneuvering,
enhancingvehiclesafety.
Thisindicatorlightstaysonforafew
secondswhentheignitionswitchisturned
totheONposition.IftheTCSorDSCis
operating,theindicatorlightflashes.
RefertoABS(page5-8)andTCS(page
5-22).
Ifthelightstayson,theTCSorDSCmay
haveamalfunctionandtheymaynot
operatecorrectly.Takeyourvehicletoan
AuthorizedMazdaDealer.
DSCoperationispossibleatspeeds
greaterthan20km/h(12mph).

Thedynamicstabilitycontrol(DSC)
cannotcompensateforunsafeand
recklessdriving,excessivespeed,
tailgating(followinganothervehicle

(reducedtirefrictionandroad
contactbecauseofwaterontheroad
surface).Youcanstillhavean
accident.
Inadditiontotheindicatorlightflashing,a

slightluggingsoundwillcomefromthe
engine.ThisindicatesthattheTCSis
operatingproperly.
Onslipperysurfaces,suchasfreshsnow,it
willbeimpossibletoachievehighrpm
whentheTCSison.
