couldblockthesideandcurtainairbagsandeliminatetheadvantagesof
supplementalprotection.Givethesideandcurtainairbagsroomtoworkbysitting
inthecenteroftheseatwhilethevehicleismovingwithseatbeltswornproperly.

inyourfrontseatsfreetodeployintheeventofasidecollision.
Donotattachobjectsonoraroundtheareawhereacurtainairbagdeploys:
Attachingobjectstotheareaswherethecurtainairbagdeployssuchasonthe
windshieldglass,sidedoorglass,frontandrearwindowpillars,andalongtheroof
edgeandassistgripsisdangerous.Inanaccidenttheobjectcouldinterferewiththe
curtainairbag,whichinflatesfromthefrontandrearwindowpillarsandalongthe
roofedge,impedingtheaddedprotectionofthecurtainairbagsystemorredirecting
theairbaginawaythatisdangerous.Furthermore,thebagcouldbecutopen
spewingexhaust.
Donotplacehangersoranyotherobjectsontheassistgrips.Whenhangingclothes,
hangthemonthecoathookdirectly.Alwayskeepthecurtainairbagmodulesfree
todeployintheeventofasidecollision.
Donottouchthecomponentsofthesupplementalrestraintsystemaftertheairbags
haveinflated:
Touchingthecomponentsofthesupplementalrestraintsystemaftertheairbags
haveinflatedisdangerous.Immediatelyafterinflation,theyareveryhot.Youcould
getburned.
