thelapportionofthelap/shoulderbelt.
Seethemanufacturer'sinstructionson
thechild-restraintsystemforbelt
routinginstructions.

Togettheretractorintotheautomatic
lockingmode,pulltheshoulderbelt
portionoftheseatbeltuntiltheentire
lengthofthebeltisoutoftheretractor.
NOTE
Inspectthisfunctionbeforeeachuseofthe
child-restraintsystem.Youshouldnotbeable
topulltheshoulderbeltoutoftheretractor
whilethesystemisintheautomaticlocking
mode.Whenyouremovethechild-restraint
system,besurethebeltfullyretractstoreturn
thesystemtoemergencylockingmodebefore
occupantsusetheseatbelts.

Ifyourchild-restraintsystemrequires
theuseofatetherstrap,refertothe
manufacturer'sinstructionstohookand
tightenthetetherstrap.
